MAKO: THE JAWS OF DEATH (1976)
I love shark movies. I especially love shark movies (or even underwater creature films) that came in the wake of JAWS which feature big rubber creations being rubbed up against screaming victims. MAKO is not one of those films. As you’ll hear in the podcast, we discover that the the film actually came out before JAWS which would explain its WILLARD style plot and emphasis on real shark footage. Now, does this make it good in a different way? Or good in any way? And what Toronto set animal attack film does Matthew recommend this week?
